+1 (not that I did) I just assumed BTS had an irrational Rays boner and valued Cobb as borderline SP1. I've been doing mocks for PL and have been chosing between Cobb and Shields a lot in Rd 5, but I usually lean towards Shields for the IP floor. Is anyone ready to buy Cobb as a bonafide SP2 yet? I can't see any way he posts a sub-3 ERA again this year, though I do love a ground ball beast.

There are definitely some very nice relievers available, I'll almost certainly be spending my 1st rounder on one.

Jose Fernandez averaged 600 miles per week on a special $10,000 bike this offseason and lost 25 lbs. Not sure if I like this, or love it.

They're both shite but I think Buerhle's more useful. Good news for BTS though, Dempster wont pitch this year so Doubront has a rotation spot. Bad news about Iwakuma tho.

That's the rule in FC. I like that there is incentive to make your cuts on time, although I understand people wanting to keep their options open as long as possible. Personally, I think if you waited this long to make moves, you handcuffed yourself, but that's just me.

Less than a week left to make your cuts. If anyone has an untrimmed roster past the deadline, we will use a randomizer to remove the necessary number of players from rosters. (Not really though.)

I cut Doubront in FC, and we have 23 keepers. As a fellow contender, I'm quite happy that you've decided to hold on. I don't even think he's useful in this format. The damage to K/BB and OBPA isnt worth the Ks.

I would gladly snap up Clippard or Hunter in the rule 5. Or Salty for that matter, despite how little I think of him. He would be an adequate caddy for El Oso Blanco.

And Hunter is a de facto closer right now.

He needs to cut 8, not 7. Grandal might be ready for opening day but it seems unlikely. I like him a lot better than Salty when he's playing though.
