I had Capps in my Top 5 or 6 remaining until you popped him. He's got a good K rate and he could fall into a closer role if the Marlins trade Cishek. I absolutely love that park for fantasy pitchers.

Avilan will probably become more of a LOOGY if Venters comes back healthy, but I can live with that. Venters is a guy I really coveted in deep leagues when he was healthy and dominating.

I probably won't see him for a few months, but a career 15% SwStr and 68% GB rate are incredibly sexy. I'll stash him on my DL and grab some other Holds plug in the meantime.

Yeah, we probably don't need to bother with waivers after the draft. There won't be much to claim, and it would probably only benefit teams with late waiver spots anyway, since teams with higher waiver priority aren't going to use it for what's available.

As soon as the last window expires, we'll open up FA, so it's a moot point. If you think you're going to sit on pick 98 for a week while everyone else's rosters are finalized in the hopes of grabbing someone who becomes relevant late in Spring Training, it's not going to happen.

How is that in any way reactionary? He's had major league success before, he's young, and he's got the stuff. There's no reason he shouldn't start the season in the rotation if he's healthy.

You have got to love Hutchison's composure and mound presence. He's facing the reigning home run king and he throws nothing but fastballs... and Davis doesn't even make contact.
