1. Murray is just way too Alfordy for my liking.
 2. I thought Soto would settle in as like a 25 HR, 120 wRC+ dude. RIP me.
 3. I would also trade Marco Gonzales for a future 1st. Don't laugh, he's 3.42/3.20/3.42 thru 80 IP.
 4. Gattis & Guerra to TCA along with 2019 MiLB 5th & 6th for 2019 MiLB 1st (TCA) + whatever junk he sent in the Yahoo offer
 5. Evan Gattis and Junior Guerra available as a package for a 2019 1st rounder.
 6. If NJH doesn’t pick by lunch then I’ll just pick for him. I’m a much better drafter anyway.
 7. That is however the last pick I have for njh
 8. Next on NJH's list is Enyel De Los Santos PHI SP
 9. I don't feel that comfortable drafting for 3 different people with my feeble and drug-addled old brain.
 10. From BP today: Bo Bichette

http://www.baseballprospectus.com/card/images/headshot_107491.jpg

Born: 03/05/1998 (Age: 20)

Bats: Right Throws: Right

Height: 6′ 0″ Weight: 200

Primary Position: SS

Secondary Position: 2B

Physical/Health

Frame is on the smallish side, room for added physical projection. Big wrap behind back shoulder with hitch, near armbar, bat speed and control are so good it won’t really matter. Bat speed and hand-eye allows him to really let it get deep, but he goes through jags where he tries to pull everything. Can get exploited when he gets aggressive (which is often at present). Tracks well, knows zone, will spit on a close FB. Plus-plus bat speed, plus approach, plus hit.

Power 60 Plus power line to line, ball jumps, could add more raw if he fills out. Should get to most of it.

Baserunning/Speed 50 4.3 dig, suspect there is more in the tank at present, but likely average at maturity.

Glove 45 Solid fielder, good hands and instincts, smooth around the bag, range is a little light and puts pressure on his arm. Everything just feels a half-grade short for the 6, grinds to be fringy, won’t kill you there. Makes most of the plays. Above-average to plus projection at second.

Arm 55 Above-average arm strength, doesn’t have that clothesline carry, can’t really let it loose deep in the 5.5 hole, weird mechanics, best throws come out sidearm, will flash 6, would be fine at second.

Overall

6/6 offensive profile, can get a little out of control when he muscles up, but better plate coverage than you’d think. Good enough defender in the middle infield, interested to see how the frame matures. One of the 20 best prospects in baseball.

11. He was next on NJH’s list after suarez lol
 12. Evan Gattis is on fire lately, now up to 13 HR with a 120 wRC+. Any contenders need a C upgrade? I’m guessing everyone but silvergun and zeros.
 13. Lol wut There’s a non-zero chance that Gleyber is already the Yankees best player and he’s under control thru 2024. He’s obviously completely untouchable and those broadcasters are dumber than Tabby.
 14. Matt 12:02 Thanks for taking the time to chat. Maybe this is nitpicking, but I feel like Soto should be ranked third at the lowest. He's killing it in the big leagues right now, in contrast to all the guys you have ahead of him- Robles, Jimenez, Bichette, etc. Woud you say you have some doubts about his defense, lack of power ceiling, etc? Kiley McDaniel 12:03 Not an insane point. We also like to try to keep things in perspective, like we were high on Soto to put him in the top 50 with almost no pro track record, then he got promoted faster than any teenager has ever, now he's had a fast couple weeks...this isn't gonna keep happening at this level and he isn't a speed/defense guy, so when it settles down, we think it'll be in the same area as the Kyle Tucker/Bo Bichette types who are also gonna get a taste this year and probably will have a scorching hot week or two at some point early in their careers and have comparable tools but more track record
 15. I would guess he gets slot +/- 10%. He got popped right around where he was projected to go.
 16. Drew Labounty probably signs for $1 or something ceremonial. People like the feel-good story there, but there is also ~$125K in pool money that can be re-allocated to an actual prospect.
 17. I'd completely forgotten to pick up A.J. Reed, thanks for the reminder.
 18. I was implying their end of season stats.
 19. Maybe the Jays just decided they would rather have Groshans + Kloffenstein than Liberatore + the alternative. The Jays seemed to be higher than most on Kloffenstein and perhaps had the inside track on his signability.
 20. Sometimes you bluff and you get called. Maybe teams offered to take him Top 5 if he would sign underslot and he balked, who knows.
