    The Jays just need a stretch where they reel off 7 or 8 wins in a row. I still believe that happens, but they need Borucki and Merryweather back first.

    That is not necessarily true. Everyone has different pain thresholds and preferences. Also some people legitimately get off on being hurt.

    They could have optioned Murphy too, but I'm not complaining either way. I don't view any of the three as real difference makers right now.

    We are and have been f***ed in the pen for a while. I'd rather put out the fire that is presently burning than one that may emerge in the future.

    I'm not worried yet, and if his struggles are grip related he should benefit from the league using a legally mandated substance next year. His issues seem control related and not spin related which is at least a plus.

    Boy, we just can't catch a break today. That should have been a routine grounder if Ryu doesn't deflect it.

    Between the lack of pitching and subpar defense the Blue Jays have no room for error most nights.
