  1. Watch that be the winning run...
  2. The difference between the Stanton and Biggio at bats are startling. One guy was looking to do damage and the other was looking for a walk. It's also funny because Stanton had a 0-2 count and Biggio was up 3-1.
  3. I think most fans have felt this way since last season. Heck, I have friends that work for the team that feel this way. It's just not an enjoyable product right now.
  4. If his last name wasn't Biggio does he still get this many opportunities?
  5. How do you look at that pitch with bases loaded and 2 strikes? I suspect Biggio was taking his chances that Gil would throw another ball versus looking for a ball to drive.
  6. In Bob Nightingale's latest article there is a blurb at the bottom that says the Jays have emerged as the frontrunners for Bellinger, but that the Cubs are still in the mix.
  7. I would bet on Vlad, he will likely never be cheaper than he is now. If it doesn't work out the team is still in good shape long term with very few long term commitments on the books.
  8. My guess is the Jays get none of the above, but Yamamoto is the most attractive option.
  9. Hard to feel like the Jays weren't used for leverage in negotiations.
  10. It's possible he was right, and the Dodgers responded by making an offer no one could top. It seems odd they would table $700 million if Ohtani was always going to sign with them.
  11. There is no winning the fans over at this point, it is what is. Management should just focus on making the best long-term moves for the franchise.
  12. Things can still change, but so far this series has gone as most of us would have expected. The hitting and IQ on this team overall just isn't good enough. I'm not sure where I'd go from here, but I wouldn't fire Atkins because on the whole the management team has build a team that can consistently push 90 wins.
  13. And Kirk 6th... The Jays lineup is so s***. It's hard to believe Schneider wouldn't be an upgrade on several hitters.
  14. I don't understand how you can look at three of those pitches and not swing... It looked like Biggio was praying for a walk.
  15. Elite teams win Championships. The Jays are not that so we have to hope they get super hot.
  16. The lack of home run power exacerbates the issue.
  17. I fully expect this team to get shutout tonight. It's completely on brand with what they have done all season.
  18. I'm not confident they can get 2, but here's hoping today is different.
  19. Finally some luck on the check swing call and Chappy makes them pay. Let's go!
  20. Its up to the offense now... LOL
  21. It wouldn't matter if Bichette left on contact... it's the base runners job to tag on any ball in the air.
