    We're starting to get into some pretty heavy sample sizes here. When he first came up he rarely chased junk outside of the zone... now he's chasing at an increasingly worrying rate. Contact rates are down. LD% is down. Strikeouts are way up, walks are way down. Looking more and more like Kevin Kouzmanoff than Evan Longoria. There is nothing at all in the recent future that should give anyone ANY optimism with Lawrie going forward. His attitude is also atrocious and he displayed a disgusting lack of baseball intelligence. Eventually it might get to a point where we have to consider dealing him. He's too much of an egomaniac to keep around as a backup INF.
