So like can we re-sign Colby Rasmus already please. Guy is on pace for well over 5 WAR. Dunno what else he has to do to prove his value. He is an elite CF if he hits. That defense is criminally underrated.

If the defensive metrics even saw Choo as a neutral defender he'd be one of the most valuable players in the game every single year. He'd be an absolute stud LF/DH for this team. Will be interesting to see how many years he commands.

That was a very enjoyable end to that game. Was nice to see Oliver Perez get touched up after trying that little stunt on Bautista.

If we're not in the top 5, does it even really matter if we finish 7th or 11th? They'll just take whatever high risk high school arm is available. I can't root for my team to lose. Can't do it. I understand the logic but I just don't think it'll make a huge difference at the end of the day.

If Drabek can just stay NEAR the zone he'll be effective. Just go back to what made you effective. Stop throwing so many cutters and start throwing that great breaking ball.

Everything would look so much better going into next year if Anthony Gose could actually hit and had a better attitude.. Defense would've been improved SO MUCH. -
Looks like he's going to finish below a .800 OPS.. At the end of the day.. another average year. The options aren't that expensive... Indifferent to if they're picked up or not. He should not be pencilled in anywhere higher than 6th in the lineup next year though.

So Rasmus is now 17th in the bigs in terms of WAR and the fourth most valuable CF behind only Trout, Gomez and Cutch. FA after next year. Likely going to reach 5 WAR this year. One of the top priorities for this offseason is to extend Colby. Gose is a massive bust. Alex do NOT f*** this up.

What a disappointing deadline. Haven't been folllowing the team that closely lately but to not trade some of the RP depth, Rajai, and a few other non-core pieces who won't be back next year is just inexcusable. I just don't get it. Alex is a defeated man.

Just trade the entire f***ing bullpen. It's the BULLPEN FFS. We have so many mediocre starting pitching prospects coming up, it can be restocked without problem. How can someone be this f***ing stupid. What's the plan? Keep Casey and extend him 3-4 years next year? He's been a stud for three straight seasons and is racking up dem savez. He'll be looking for at least 7-8M a year.

If AA and Beeston want to save their jobs, Gibbons will be fired. This is a business, not a hug fest. Gibbons was an incredibly tough sell to the fanbase BEFORE this abortion of a season. He's gone.
