  1. I think Parker will end up going #1 so we'll have a good shot at Wiggins even if we only get 2-3
  2. Huge trade. Ujiri strikes again.
  3. That contract wasn't crippling or anything when it was signed.... but the Phillies had SO many holes at the time (still do). It was just ridiculous to see them commit so many years/dollars to a freaking closer.
  4. At least there is a team (Angels) that has a dimmer future than us.
  5. The Rays are going to sell Price to the Mariners for an absolutely massive haul here.
  6. Wow... Was thinknig more along the lines of a minor league deal.
  7. Colon would fit in very well in Seattle.
  8. Insanely stupid signing. This is fantastic for us. Makes the Yanks a lot weaker.
  9. I haven't been following too closely.. Why the hell did Miami non-tender this guy? They definitely could've traded him.
  10. Well said. 15 years ago this guy was probably living under a banana tree using garbage bags as shoes. This is digusting. I hope Jay Z AKA "JIGGA MAN" never lives this down
  11. Being a gajillionaire living in a beautiful town like Seattle sounds quite appealing. If I was on the backend of my career I'd probably prefer to play there over the fishbowl that is NY.
  12. Let's acquire guys who can get the ball out of the infield please. Thanks
  13. Probably eliminates Infante to the Yanks...
  14. Yes, let's dump a two win player who is on a reasonable contract for nothing. Lind has shown flashes the last few years. If he commits to his body and ups his daily workout regimen from 10 to 20 pushups we might have a late bloomer on our hands here.
  15. I don't think we can afford to give up Lind right now. He's on a decent contract and showed potential last year to actually reach his potential. If the package is good, sure, but he's fairly valuable to us right now.
  16. If he turned down a 2/18 deal + incentives for 3/21 he's an idiot.
  17. Knowing the Marlins they'll heavily frontload it and dump him after one year.
  18. Kind of an odd trade as Fowler only has 2 years left under control (Astros are 5 years away at the earliest) and Lyles is a former top prospect.
  19. This is a family forum bro. Keep it clean.
  20. Bring Colon home Alex. 2-3 years 5/6 AAV Get it done.
  21. The going rate for a fringe #4 type is 8m a year? Steep. Shows the importance of having a deep system. Even if guys like Hutch, Nolin, etc don't become anything special.. they could still become cheap, controllable, effective talent which will help prevent us from pissing away money on garbage pitchers like Hughes. Thankfully the Jays truly value org depth like no other!
  22. Anyone going to the Bills game today?
  23. http://www.royalsreview.com/dayton-moore-transaction-history/2012/9/25/3409748/dayton-moore-trade-history http://www.royalsreview.com/dayton-moore-transaction-history/2013/2/2/3945016/notable-free-agent-signings-dayton-moore Looking back, he's made very few noteworthy trades... He got a decent haul for Greinke but kinda ruined that now by dealing Odorizzi with Myers. He got some good value out of the Santana trade... but he only had one year left so it's kind of dumb in retrospect. He's given out a few poor FA contracts: Gil Meche: 5/55 Jose Guillen: 3/36 Guthrie: 3/25 He's just a quiet GM. He doesn't really do a whole lot or make any super bold moves...the Shields deal being the boldest. They could do better but they could also do worse.
