3:01pm: Peter Gammons noted on the MLB Network's broadcast that the Mariners have been in on Colon from the beginning and mentioned the Blue Jays as a possibility as well. Probably already discussed but FFS sign this fat man Alex.

Wouldn't be surprising. AA isn't going to come out and comment on any rumours thrown out there. Would make perfect sense for the Rays to try stuff like that.

It's one rumour. Heyman is an idiot but he thinks the M's, Dodgers, and Rangers are leading the race for Price. Let's reserve judgment... But just the fact that this was potentially even discussed between the two teams is scary enough.

I'd definitely be careful about throwing AA under the bus for a rumour like this... We all pretty much fell for the Bautista/Dom Brown rumour and that was completely fabricated.

I don't think Doc will stick around as a coach. Doesn't seem like that type of guy who's addicted to the game. He's made his money. Seems like a family man. I'm pretty sure he's a Mormon too so he'll probably be spending time working with the church in some capacity.

Same. Was too young to really remember the 92-93 glory years so Halladay was a hero of mine during the 2000s. Amazing career and easily one of the classiest athletes this franchise has ever had.

I don't get why it's so difficult for this team to get behind giving 2/20 to a guy like Burnett. AJ didn't hate Toronto. He seemed to like it here at the end. Like he's just sitting there. Make the offer.

It's enraging that JV still doesn't even average 30 MPG. I've watched him live at least five times this year and he's really, really good. Not a franchise changing guy but he moves really well. I think he's going to continue to blossom and is years away from his peak.

This Greivis Vasquez guy looks pretty good. 14PPG 9 APG last year. He should be benched immediately.
