    Just keep him in the pen. He seems like a huge mouth breather so it'll be good for him to focus on just one inning at a time. The FB/CB combo would be deadly out of the pen if he could actually f***ing find some control.

    29th ranked prospect only three years ago .884 WHIP 5.83 K/BB in the minors last year Finally healthy 26 years old Still throwing in the low-mid 90s I WANT TO BELIEVE It's way too early to completely give up on the guy. It's like just lost his control over night. Not really the full-on yips ala Ankiel... but pretty damn close. Really weird. This is a make or break year for sure though.

    Tonight is the type of game that shows us why we should keep Lowry. Shot wasn't working but still found a way to positively impact the game with his passing and defense. He also has a crazy competitive streak. You can just see how badly he wants to win every single night. I really like him. I think they absolutely have to re-sign him. Keep this core in tact and go after one of the big names who will be a FA. We have the cap space to do so.

    But according to the a huge amount of Raptors fans, this team just "Fools gold". We're getting elite guard play every single night. We still need a dominant big man to take us to the next level but they're creating something special here.

    Fact: Since trading Rudy, the Raps are 26-13, .667 WP%... 7th best in the league during that time. This team is playing like a contender.

    Nene is out so they should mop the floor with Washington on Thursday night. Sunday against Golden State will be a great test for them to see where they're really at.

    Really disappointed to see JV only get 17 minutes. He looked good on the glass early on too.

    Great win. DeRozan pretty much single handedly won that for us. Lowry didn't have his shot working but chipped in with great D and took some nice charges.

    lol Hard to believe that we almost pulled off a Lowry for Felton + deal but Dolan nixed it. Gun chages, declining game, divorce proceedings. Sounds like a typical NBA player at the tail end of his career.

    The only real challenge until mid-March is Golden State this coming Sunday. Would be nice to see them rattle off a bunch of wins here and reach 50 wins (winning 19/26 against weak competition is very possible). A number in the high 40s would still also be awesome. #3seedorbust

    Don't agree with elimating the drafting system. Look at European football. The only real chance you have at getting elite talent (if you don't have an oil tycoon for an owner) is if you sign a kid when he's like 12 years old into your academy... And then the chances of that kid being sold 2-3 years into his professional career are sky high if he's any good. The end result is that the same 10 teams dominate the continent for eternity. There is no Tampa Bay Rays in the EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Budesliga, etc. where a savvy GM can do the things that Friedman does.

    All of this analytics stuff is wonderful and stuff, but if you don't actually pull the trigger on anything it's all pointless. Let's build a system to beat the market and then not actually act on any of its outputs. Great plan, what could possibly go wrong? All talk, no action.

    This team needs another big (Hill or Kaman if either get bought out) and another wing player to backup DeRozan. Not a fan of John Salmons. Casey loves running plays through Salmons continuously as well which is terrifying.

    Was at the game. First quarter was brutal but Lowry took over the game as usual. Orlando is so bad.

    He's actually a nice guy. He sent me a DVD of the '93 WS out of the blue one year. It was awesome. I think he put a lot of work into his site and it never really took off so he was frustrated... which is understandable.

    He better. Get a guaranteed 150M and will still be super young when it's time for another deal. All it'll take is a severe injury and all that earning power is gone. Take the money and don't be stupid young man.

    This site could be so much bigger than it is. Has anyone been pimping this on twitter like originally planned? Something as simple as handing out leaflets at the home opener would increase traffic significantly and would be cheap to pull off.

    That's some terrifyingly bad decision making. Cruz doesn't even have like 50-60M in career earnings already under his belt either. He has never really had a huge contract. How the f*** can you turn down 5/75?
