  1. JPA's been a walk machine in this series!
  2. I think it's possible for both to be true.
  3. Honestly can't help but smile at that Volquez homer.
  4. Way to go Ramon Ortiz. Padres really have things going right for them.
  5. Forget about the Petco factor, Mark Buehrle is a good pitcher. He'll win.
  6. Wearing my Encarnacion t-shirt today so he's my pick for tonight.
  7. So Jedd Gyorko is rocking a 124 wRC+ in his rookie year. Pretty solid.
  8. Padres are teeing off on Jenkins but they need to stop hitting it to Rasmus.
  9. That was seriously awesome. Rasmus has shown us in two innings why we love him despite his inconsistency.
  10. Rasmus delivers...puts me on the board.
  11. Yeah, I'm sure. Google him if you dare. He's Colon/Litsch level.
  12. This Pirates reliever Mike Zagurski is just disgustingly fat. I'm actually having trouble watching him.
  13. Chad Jenkins against Jason Marquis--it's like he's facing an older version of himself. Padres are more interesting than most give them credit for (everyone seems to dismiss them because their uniforms are gray). Headley and Venable are very underrated players who do lots of things well, and Grandal and Gyorko are a couple of interesting young players. Side note: I exepct Pat Tabler to remark at some point in this series that Headley "plays the game the right way".
  14. I'm gonna go with Brandon Morrow. In several of his starts he's had dominant stretches but always has an inning or two where he falls apart. He's been close to his old self at times but hasn't been able to put it together and have a really impressive outing.
