  2. I confirm the trade with King Kat. So many questions surrounding this year's draftees near the top. And I like what I read about Buehler & Allard from multiple sources last year. And TJS or other small injuries don't really sway me. BTS I looked at your roster and I couldn't come up with something that would work.
  3. http://mlbfarm.com/bookmarks.php You can add prospects to this list and it updates in close to real time as to what your farm's are doing. It also allows you to see what they've done for the year
  4. Looking to move the #3 overall pick in the upcoming draft.
  5. So Barney will come down to earth sooner than later because traditionally his offence has been bad, but Tulo who's been slumping can't have the opposite trend where he was good offensively but can't get better?
  6. If the Rays did it to the Jays, you'd be pissed off and want interference called. So it's not ********.
  7. Hmmm....sounds familiar
  8. Imagine we emptied the bank to sign Price? We'd be the best.
  9. In comparison to the rest of the parks we're just ahead of the Trop'
  10. There's a good chance he's worse than Delgado.
  11. We're not even in the same ballpark for the resources the Dodgers currently have. So eventually prospects will be needed to offset the costs of rostering a team of 30+ year old players getting 25+m per year contracts.
  12. It was probably when he called Reggie or Rickey out for pimping a HR or snap catch during a regular season game. Oh wait....he probably didn't call them out, because he's a gutless sack of s***.
  13. I wonder if he's ever attempted to knock former teammates McGwire & Canseco's teeth out?
  14. I don't mind seeing some personalities show, but some of it is just dumb. Pointing to the sky to acknowledge a higher power is lame. Sammy Sosa's antics were also annoying. And sports in general, when your team is getting slaughtered and you hit a bomb, score a goal or score a TD........the celebration afterwards is dumb.
  15. I wonder if Gossage would've preferred Gibson's '84 WS blast celebration when Gibson blew kisses to the crowd and nearly took half a dozen team mates arms off.
  16. If seeing different yards means something to you I'd recommend doing the WAS/BAL swing. Camden Yards is one of the nicest parks in baseball, couple that with the surrounding area of the park being beautiful and offering a myriad of dining options. The Nats park is also nice, and Washington would offer a ton of different things to do there as well. Plus, the Phills are at home vs the Nats on the Mon, Tues, Weds when the Jays play the Orioles. So if seeing other teams or yards interests you, you could make the 2.5 hour drive from Washington to Philly and forego one of the Jays/ Orioles games and take a game in at Citizen's Bank. New York's an attraction on it's own that draws people and you can plan a trip in the future and catch a Mets & Yanks game while you're there.
  17. No need to correct, I knew exactly what I was saying. My thoughts were solely about the Jays not worrying about dropping an extra 250k if Soriano makes the team instead of a career minor league reliever. And if Soriano shows enough to make the 'pen, then he should make the 'pen. It never once occurred to me about the feeling a minor leaguer would get making the majors and earning 500k.
  18. Weird that you're concerned about spending 250k more for Soriano over what a career minor leaguer would earn. But pay Bautista what he wants. Holy f***!!
  19. We need Grady in Toronto.
  20. I'd prefer the Jays get the most they can in talent as the return. Because when you start saying things like "to help fill next year's roster" you're limiting yourself in the return you'll get and the teams you're dealing with. A team in the playoff hunt isn't going to deal a significant MLB piece(s) for Jose or Edwin. Both have 10/5 rights and aren't gonna agree to a trade to the Brewers, A's or some other s*** team. So you put it out there they're on the block and take the best offer for one or both if the offer is well worth it above the comp picks they'd receive.
