    Trading one player isn't giving up, especially Melky. But really, there's many other moves I'd like Alex to make but that's not the direction of the team anymore. Josh Johnson's another that needs to go.

    +1 More balls hit to left for Rasmus to use his range on, with less need for a better arm. And less balls hit to right for Melky to play, but when they are his arm is better suited in right than Rasmus. And Gose in CF, just makes too much sense. Or they can deal Melky at the deadline and promote Sierra.

    I like Lind as a DH, but now that he's doing well is the best time to trade him. Don't let him regress to what he was the past couple years here, move him for something young, cheap and useful. It doesn't have to be a great piece but a piece nonetheless.

    Isn't this what the O's did? Brought Gausman up and they're running Freddy Garcia out there? I wish fans would climb out of Jays bubble they live in and have a peek around. They might learn something.

    I hope not. There's really no one to appease, so I don't see the need to rush. Who knows maybe Beeston's rushing it, because the retirement bells are ringing louder.

    As a non-baseball man, I'd have to say Beeston had a little too much input as to what type of players to target or his conversations with Alex centred around 1993 & 1992 too much.

    Solid, solid fielder who can play all 3 OF positions. Statlines when younger aren't at all disappointing when looking at ARL. Had speed and a bit of pop.
