Hypothetically, if Franco is found guilty, serves 3 years and released, and somehow gets back into the USA, he's 26 yrs old approx. Would a team sign him? I think not, for the exact same reasons - PR hit and risk of further incident.

There's the PR issue, affecting a good portion of the fan base and there is the risk of further incidents. The 2nd possibly more of an issue for teams than the 1st.

lol, no he didn't he played part of the season in Wilmington, a notorious pitcher's park, with a 155 wRC+ then made the difficult jump to AA, and had a 124 wRC+ as a 20 yr old there was swing and miss in AA but that is generally the case with 20 yr olds in AA
