  1. Yeah, and I traded my 2025 2nd to pick him
  2. Reminds me of Pearson tweets from a few years back
  3. An LOD closer, finally
  4. You probably saw the same report I did in that Hendricks was impacted by injury in both 2022 and 2023 and is back to full health now. I scoff at a 5th
  5. True, but we are talking about IKF who hits lefties and righties roughly equally and derives most of his value from D. By all means, if the Jays sign Chapman, IKF is a bench bat. If there is no better 3B option, IKF should be the primary 3B and that would max out his value.
  6. I have 10 MLB SP and 3 MLB ready SP on the farm. If it's barren, you can blame me and then make me an offer.
  7. I responded to your post because of this: As long as IKF is not a negative WAR player, the more he sits on the bench, the less he is worth his contract. If you are referring to total player investment, and optimal player usage, that's not clear from what you wrote.
  8. Cubbies signed Peralta yesterday. All signs point to Belly to the Jays.
  9. Biggio might be a better defensive 3B than Rosario Only thing one can say is Ross overpaid IKF by a couple of Mill
  10. Yes and that is why I responded to Abom's post
  11. he's not a negative asset, the more he plays the higher the ROI he's suited for the bench, but that requires a better 3B option the IFK signing is probably both as a bench bat and insurance if the Jays strike out on Chapman or other 3B option
  12. Bucs extend Keller 5 years $77M, through age 28-33 Nice for the Bucs
  13. I don't think $300M is correct, there's no way. The number is probably closer to $200M. Problem for the Jays is the closer he gets to FA without an extension, the harder to sign. Which is why I said, if he shoves this year, sign him to a reasonable deal. His conditioning efforts this offseason probably has more to do with his pending potential free agency than anything else.
  14. yeah there is a disparity on D, IKF > Rosario > Anderson Plus Anderson is a hothead, probably cost him a couple of mil
  15. Ethan is a fair bit bigger, not a little brother. One or two ticks up on the power grade.
  16. If he shoves in 2024 and willing to sign a reasonable deal after the season, you f***ing do it.
  17. BA has Jackson Holliday's brother Ethan as No. 1 for 2025 MLB draft
  18. Sixto just looking the part of a high leverage reliever
  19. Let's do a LOD trade
  20. Reasonable expectation should be Hinske ish, which is perfectly fine. He could be better, could be worse. The worry has to be he has a lengthy slump, unable to adjust to what the pitchers are exploiting, and gets demoted.
  21. Good for him. Fitting end to an outstanding career.
  22. Pearson is working to add a splitter. Apparently he has been throwing MLB calibre good ones already.
  23. Nah, you dumb. Ohtani is in a different stratosphere entirely.
  24. Trout doesn't come close to Ohtani in name value. He should, but for a lot of reasons he doesn't. His name value is far closer to Bellinger than it is to Ohtani.
