    Yeah, I was looking at the games in 2018 and 2019 when Snell went more than 6IP and didn't notice any blowups 3rd time through. He was having one of those games. It sucks for baseball fans too, and hence MLB. I'm sure the 200 Rays fans watching the game are pissed.

    6 IP or more 11x in 2019. 18x in 2018. Don't look at 2020, Every team was babying their starters in COVID year.

    Another way to put it, taking out Snell in that situation is like pinchhitting for Juan Soto.

    Snell is not that far off of a DeGrom or a Scherzer. I can see going by the spreadsheet for your average starter, where the downgrade from the starter to reliever X is not that great. But for elite guys like Snell, the downgrade to a reliever is pretty significant. When there is gas in the tank, and his pitches are working, leave him in.

    I would say a week before the draft next year. No need to rush and a lot of owners are inactive these days.

    Ah I did misremember. Sixto came in the Moustakas deal. So it was Dustin May, Daniel Palka, and a 3rd round pick for: Brandon Marsh Brennen Davis Jhoan Duran 1st round pick = Daniel Espino Still a great overall swap.

    Rays have a couple of faster guys with better bats getting close to MLB who can handle CF. Vidal Brujan is the closest to MLB, 80 speed.

    In LOD, I moved May to Gibbers for Corbin and Brandon Marsh, then flipped Corbin for Sixto and Brennen Davis. Dustin May for Sixto Sanchez, Brandon Marsh, and Brennen Davis. Nice, eh?
