There is an argument that the taxpayer savings accrued when a parent decides to send their kid to a private school should be reimbursed. This would likely be a small portion of the private school cost, 25%?

Guy with the tix invited me last year, but declined. 4x at the Master's is enough. Can't really justify the $2000-2500 trip cost anymore. Have been to US Open. Looking at British Open for next tourney trip.

You calling me weird, mod? I was itching to drop Simmons for Crawford but greed won the day. Crawford has sucked but his numbers are trending up and he's 25 yrs old, a typical age for a breakout.

Hell, baseball's most visible player might be Bauer, and he did it on his own without any help from MLB.

One obvious issue is LeBron, Magic, Barkley, Curry being highly visible. Guys like Mookie, not so much. MLB has been poorly run as a business for a long time.

I was surprised when BTS dropped JP Crawford and was trying to move Andrelton or Hoerner, and pick him up. Tried to trade Andrelton to Hurl last night and he scooped up Crawford instead. Damnit.

If I recall correctly, the concern has been decreased participation in youth baseball leagues. Although this is probably a broader issue and not specific to the black community.
