    I think blaming last night on Gibbons decision to use Schultz is a bit nitpicky. I think the problem with this series is that we got two clunkers from out starting pitchers, and out bats just couldn't seem to get it together last night.

    It was painful to watch Martin run to first in the 9th. I'd be inclined to give him a couple of days off.

    Wasn't it against the Twins that Colabello hit a homerun in extras to win it for us? We also had Goins hit a three-run homer to win a game for us not too long ago. This stuff happens to lots of teams. No point worrying about what the Yankees are doing; Jays just have to do their own thing and then show up in the face-to-face games.

    Didn't realize that Fox still broadcasts games. I thought everything was pretty much on SN or TSN. Very cool that they're getting a nationally televised game.

    You could sign up for MLB.TV and watch from pretty much any device that has an internet connection. Not sure what the discounted price is at his point for the rest of the season. The nice thing about this is that you get access to all games, so even on off days you could watch a rival. I think there's usually a free stream for each game, but I'm not sure what it is, nor what the video quality is.

    That happens to me through my phone; At Bat will ding a notification prior to it happening on MLB.TV.

    I got rid of my TV (Bell) and have been watching MLB.TV like crazy for Jays and other games. Nice that they don't black out Jays anymore.

    My guess would be that this is more true if the money spent on the pitcher significantly impacts the ability to spend other money in other areas. I don't mind having an expensive team. I do mind having a financially constrained team.

    Yeah, it seems like a head scratching move for sure, but I feel like there must be some reason we don't know about for why they DFAd him.

    I definitely want our best hitters getting the most ABs. To me having Tulo, JD and Bautista be every opposing pitcher's first inning is perfect.

    I've been planning for weeks to go to tomorrow's game and pick up tickets from a scalper. Hopefully the crazy Yankee prices don't bleed too much into the A's series.
