As long as Beeston and the whole front office are gone, i couldnt care less what the new regime would do. Going all in is pretty stupid, but theres at least a proper way to do it, not trade for bloated FA contracts..and give up assets to do so.

Their forwards remind me of the Kingston frontenacs. They alll play like it's their first game above pewee hockey and have no idea what to do when they cant simply just go around the whole team.

Well they can also afford to play 10x more games because baseball takes by far the least amount of effort to play. I always chuckle when I hear ex players talk about the "grind" of the regular season. Playing a childrens game, flying around the states in first class and eating at fancy dinners, in nice hotels isnt a grind. Walking up at 6 am and booking it on the f***ing ttc to scarbrough for a 1.5 hr transit ride with a 50/50 chance that you'll get stuck next to a guy on the bus who hasnt showered is the defintion of a "grind"

Some people just refuse to do a tiny bit of analytic thinking when it comes to sports and insist of living up to the dumb jock label. Even when they are proven wrong, like they obviously were about the O's, they just move on to some other crap like how the Cards are clutch now all of sudden.

I was poking fun at the article, not you. But honestly im so indifferent when it comes to mangers. They could play without one for all i care..baseball is probably the one team sport where the head coach sits on his ass all game, doesnt really do anything and yet somehow gets the credit when the pitching/hitting coach do a lot more work. Baseball is incredibly overated as a "team" sport, but it really comes down to a bunch of individuals in the grand scheme of things.
