    Yes its luck the way the pacers built there team. Nothing to do with good trades and good drafting. The raptors had a franchise player surrounded by crap and it got them no where. This isnt a team that's built to tank, just leave it at that.

    They traded 2 picks for a young offensive star. Regardless of what Seugin turned out to be, they still got a top player. Calling the trade terrible is beyond retarded.

    That's what i pretty much said the entire time. They would have had to trade away all the top players pre season and even if the did so and somehow managed to lane a Wiggins or Parker, they wouldnt have much to pair with either of them since only Johnson gets a decent return back. Indiana an GS are the organizations they should be looking at when constructing your team. There's plenty of good talent in the 10-18 range

    Ive posted this in another thread, but this Ballou character deserves to be f***ing fired. He's clearly picking names out of a hat..and doesnt follow his own criteria since he voted for f***ing Chris Davis of the medoicre Baltimore Orioles first. It's one thing to pick Miggy over Trout..but how do you pick Davis over Miggy

    I love Weiters, like id probably forgive AA for everything he has done in the past if he somehow obtained him. Our prospect bank is so low now so it isnt like we could overpay for him.

    His walk rate is solid. His BABIP has just been high for the past 2 seasons, which makes sense when you look at whos playing SS behind him. HR rate a bit high as well, but he does pitch in Wrigley

    These voters who need the MVP to be on a playoff team are such hypocrites. Miggy is more valuable than Trout because the Tigers made the post season, but the same argument cant be made for Donaldson

    Yea most were very worried about Gio's walk rates and how he would transition to a hitters ball park. Most liked Latos though.

    Punto's always been a good defender and isnt a black hole with the bat. Anyone with common sense would tell you that he's just an average ball player, nothing special but is the type of player who deserves to be sought out when filling out a roster. I actually wouldnt have minded AA throwing 3.5 MIl at him to be our second baseman if we didnt have Izzy ( who should bounce bacK)
