    Yep the fact that we weren't all born 6'2 with a sturdy athletic body and can't hit a 90 mph fb apparently means that we can't judge who can't either. A former player has to join a major network and embrace saber stats and use them to point out the flaws in traditional stats. Jeter joining ESPN, boasting about the importance of obp and bashing stuff like RBIs and is my version of a wet dream. Even guys like davidhi are becoming unbearable.

    Wrc+ down from 88 last year, to 62 this year. A 62 wRC+ as a f***ing catcher, and there's writers out there who believe in the bat. Like f*** off already. I can tolerate the NHL/NFL airheads on air because I dont really know much about the games and there's so much that goes on..especially in football that its hard to look at basis stats. But for baseball theres not a single reason why he shouldnt be trashed by every credible writer out there.

    Yes and people told you that stasticially speaking, facing the Astros 18 a year is so much more insignificant than playing half your games in the pitching friendly stadium the A's play in. It was also pointed out that Miggy plays 18 times a year agaisnt the Twins, or are a WORSE pitching staff than the Astros..which you just keep ignoring. War isnt even a advanced SABR stat so the fact the people like you ignore it because it wasnt used 10 years ago is so f***ing ignorant. The A's play in a pitchig friendly park, so you give Donaldson more credit for his numbers..its so bloody simple. Get it

    lol. Astro's pitching helps Donaldson so therefore its important. Twins help Miggy, so its irrelevant. He's so far over his head that he's just arguing every f***ing point now, regardless of what it is.

    Honestly more than half the people in the league right now havent even said one word. Dynasty leagues need dedicated owners..getting people to give their input or even register shouldnt be this hard. Probably best to just scrap it

    You wouldn't be saying this if it favoured Donaldson.. Get your head out if your ass please. The stats are adjusted used mathematical formulas.. Ignoring them is beyond ignorant and frankly..puts you in the Mitch Williams territory when it comes to anayalsis and probably shouldn't even say anything

    This entire thread has turned into the dumbest argument ever. Donaldson became a beast out of no where, the same way Bautista did, but in a different way. He doesnt make outs, play great defence, hits for power, does it all in a pitchers park..who gives a s*** what his last name is

    Half the writers voting this year still probbaly dont even know what Donaldson looks like. I doubt he finishes in the top 5, probably not the top 10.

    No his numbers wont improve if he goes to another division. He'll be hitting in pitchers parks more..which would erase the smallest of difference the left handed pitchers would make. Its just another bluejay making excuses.

    Friday's okay, but people better be active in checking on the prospect draft, or it will carry well into the season to piss a lot of people off. Come wednesday morn, if we still dont have 20 though, I say we open it up to friends and stuff. 16 will really blow. People also have to confirm that Monday night is okay for them.

    I havent participated in a serious hockey league before so im not exactly sure what kind of impact the goal tending would have in a 20 team league, but wouldnt it just make goalies a lot more valuable than they should be?

    Starting spots should be pretty standard. 3 foward lines, 3 defensive lines. Maybe 1 goalie because its a 20 team league? Bench can be whatever, 18 keepers. 5-8 Farm. Cats should be discussed and voted

    As long as PIM isnt included and the Goalie stats dont make up more than 40 percent of the cats, im not picky.
