    Well he basically traded that for a 40 yr old pitcher on a 1 year deal, so what do you expect he wants for Jose? There's a reason why there were a lot of reports about Texas wanting one of our sluggers and not being able to reach a deal.

    Well we've had some serious braindead ones all across the board for a long time. You're probably to young to have even noticed/cared about the raptors when Sam Mitchell was coaching back then..but he would almost blame every loss on his team not making shots..as if they had just got unlucky for the entire game..multiple times a week..every month

    Well thats one reason I was more open to moving him rather than Martinez, but he's also a hard thrower who's going to miss a ton of bats. The ball cant carry if it aint being hit.

    I spoke to 3 teams about moving either Gray or Martinez for a very good OF in exchange for either of them and it didnt look like anything would work out..and then I wake up from my 8 hr nap to this..

    I think people are underrating just how good Pedroia is, especially in a OBP league and a hits league, where he comes close to 200 every year due to how many AB's he gets. Either way im happy with that I ended up getting after looking for a deal for months now.
