  1. Processed on the sheet. A bit surprised FS sees Gibson as a keeper.
  2. Yikes. That's not a good projection given his expected contract.
  3. He actually was tho.
  4. Recent White Sox LoD waiver claim Drew Hutchison sux dix.
  5. Jesus Christ, it was a tongue-in-cheek post child.
  6. I have no idea what you're on about, but that's the list of AA era players I want gone forever. Two left to go.

  8. Valbuena > Thames > Kendrick for me
  9. You're wrong
  10. Perez over Sanchez and Gattis is egregious
  11. Is this a real life post? You want to give a 34-year old DH whose numbers slipped this year 125M?
  12. I hear King is going to run it this year, and donate $100 to the winner. Thanks King!
  13. I expected it to be about that much, but what an uninspiring start to the offseason for Braves fans. I'd be pretty disappointed if Toronto just gave him that.
  14. I just saw Ken Rosanthal post on twitter that Edwin signed a 5/145 contract with Toronto and almost died at my desk.
  15. Feels so good to enter an offseason with a 5-man rotation of starters who are at least average. I don't think that's ever happened before.
  16. I don't disagree. I wouldn't make that deal.
  17. I think it's obvious to everyone that the numbers change depending on the other moving parts. My point was that a rigid analysis like the one done above, while useful, probably doesn't have much actual utility because we have no idea how the front office values wins at their projected place on the win curve.
  18. I'm so f***ing stoked about this.
  19. I keep looking at Valbuena, for all the reasons you list. I'm not sure how capable he is at 2B, but he's fine at 3B and 1B, and the bat plays at DH vs. RHP. I'd probably also be inclined to see how well he handles a corner OF spot.
  20. If the FO has fairly reliable reason to believe that McCutchen will bounce back to elite level next year, all of these calculations can be waived away by arguing that the 5 wins from McCutchen are wins 84-88 in the next two years, which makes them worth a lot more than 8M a piece.
  21. Well, there are like 4 holes in the team's current lineup rotation.
  22. If he didn't like his role in LA he probably wouldn't like the role he'd have here. Most likely scenario would be that he plays a lot in LF, fills in at 2B when Travis is on the DL, and plays some 1B. Not a bad super-utility type as long as LA sees him as a salary dump, but if he's unhappy with that kind of role he's probably not a fit.
  23. what a bunch of crap
  24. Wow, Kiermaier is a handsome well-dressed gentleman and Pillar looks ridiculous. I support this gold glove choice.

Best payer in the 2016 draft for sure.
