Nah, it's been done before. It won't be processed until after the draft or enforced by the league, but pick 33 for future considerations, which ends up being a 2018 2nd once they're generated, is fine.
looking to do a few things:
- Givens available for a 1st round waiver pick
- Riley Pint available for 1st round waiver pick
- Clippard or Neshek available for an upgrade on one of my top-4 MiLB picks
- picks 32, 33, 40 available for 2018 2nds
- would also move any combination of the above or other stuff for a SP
Edwin looks very unappealing. Numbers down across the board last year, and down again even more this year. I'll pass on the 20M DH's age-35 and 36 seasons when there are very real concerns that he's not an elite hitter anymore.
Liriano. There's a 3-4-win starter in there if he settles in, and I give him every chance to hit his stride, especially given that he's trade bait if the team falls out of contention. Also, it keeps Biagini's workload down in case he's needed in the rotation later on this year.
spittin hasn't announced yet, but the miLB draft won't be until July sometime
Also, I had no idea you had a core of Judge/Harper/Price/Bum. That's crazy elite.
