  1. Jim, please for the love of god cut David Jacob now
  2. I'm going to be cutting Roman Quinn and Josh Naylor in July if nobody gives me something for them. Also, picks 54, 66, and 67 are available for 2018 3rds.
  3. You can add them to your MLB roster in yahoo as long as they're in the database. Most people try to wait as long as possible though, because its irreversible. Just make the add and post in this thread that you're doing it and someone will delete them from the sheet to open up a MiLB slot.
  4. Franklin Perez for me. Will PM Speedy.
  5. Processed the MiLB parts on the sheet.
  6. Last year's draft started after the signing deadline in July, and this year's will too. Rules need to be updated I guess.
  7. Last call on Neshek. He can go for a 4 -> 3 waiver upgrade.
  8. Narvaez is a complete butcher behind the plate.
  9. Just the 14 categories in the matchup screen matter. There are no defensive categories.
  10. Shut down indefinitely. Two consecutive lost development years is f***ing brutal.
  11. Kinda happy GD took Morejon, because I wasn't leaving him on the board but wasn't thrilled about taking a 14-year old.
  12. I remember getting reasonably close to trading Wade Davis for Judge. Instead I ended up with Carson Fulmer and whatever's left of James Kaprielian's arm.
  13. He had major hip surgery end his 2014, then returned looking like a shell of himself, then the Rockies decided to move him with a fair bit of urgency. There was lots of reason to be concerned that 2015 Tulo was the new Tulo, and those concerns are proving to be reality.
  14. I think this is very sloppy thinking.
  15. If you push this much further, you're going to have to fight Boxy. He knows karate.
  16. Zunino is always going to strike out in a 3rd of his plate appearances, and he's a catcher, which pretty much makes him uninteresting unless his name is Posey or Sanchez. Anybody hyping Mike Zunino as more than maybe a fringe keeper in a 20-team league should be very embarrassed.
  17. It doesn't have to be Reyes though. There were certainly avenues that didn't involve committing $100M to an injury-prone 30-something on the decline. And Tulo wasn't even good in the playoffs.
  18. I think it probably happens without the Tulo trade. I don't mind the Price trade so much - getting a legit ace for the stretch and the playoffs is a valid move, and he wasn't tied to an albatross contract. Adding Tulo's $100M contract was just irresponsible.
  19. Boxy has fought multiple people on this forum when they get out of line. Usual place is Yonge and Bloor at midnight.
  20. That's why you don't empty the farm for old guys locked into 20+M long term contracts. If you trade a bunch of high-end young talent, most will bust, but some won't and you'll lose 6 years of cheap production in exchange for someone who, at best, will have neutral value relative to his contract, and at worst will be a complete anchor.
  21. I don't know how true this is. Tulo was worth a win or so down the stretch in 2015, and 2.5-3 wins last year. He's also been absolutely terrible in both playoff runs. I don't think he was some irreplaceable component of those those two teams, and the production certainly doesn't warrant four years of carrying his albatross contract.
  22. Pitching. Not even once.
