I don't love Cordero, but a 23-year old with 70 power and 70 speed who has crushed AAA and contributed at about a league average rate in the majors probably isn't the 17th best prospect in anybody's system.
Longenhagen and McDaniel drastically undervalue actual MLB contributors on their lists. They didn't even have Ryan Yarbrough in their top-31 Rays prospects even though he projects (and is performing as) a league average MLB starter.
In my mind Boxy sounds exactly as described and njh sounds and behaves like Dennis from Always Sunny. I have no preconceived notions about anyone else.

I'd otherwise be expecting him to sign a 3-4 year deal in the offseason.
Our only point of disagreement on the issue is how likely we think it is that the team gets to 85-86 wins. I don’t think the team is tangibly worse than Minny, Seattle, or Oakland. Especially with Vlad.
I just hate the idea of letting someone who could help the team spend almost a full calendar year in the minors after clearly demonstrating that he's ready now. I'd feel different if we were the Marlins or White Sox, but 85-86 wins is still not out of the question.
