I think the problem we're running into here, or one of the problems, is that a large number of the position players on the roster suck. Like half of them won't belong on a 2021 opening day MLB roster.

There's too much talent on the waiver wire to have unlimited adds. Owners would just win by making like 30 adds a week to make sure there's never off days in their lineup. It works in LoD because it's a 30-team league and there's generally just trash available.
