  1. I don't see big separation between Teo and Kepler. Kepler would have been the clear choice going into 2020. Teo hit the s*** out of the ball this year, but the K/BB was ugly, and projections don't think he's markedly better than Kepler (or even better at all). I do think Seager is clearly better than Swanson, by a lot.
  2. Good signing. Wisler did some interesting things this year.
  3. Do you get the impression TB's FO would give real consideration to the fact that Toronto is in their division?
  4. Easily Seager and Kepler for the first one. I probably lean Solak/Antone in the second one, but I feel like you'll be lucky any of those guys are top-200 players next year.
  5. Of course. I'll be mildly surprised if he isn't waived again this offseason though.
  6. Longenhagen didn't even have him in Detroit's top-40 in his pre-season list.
  7. Sucks watching a fun team get dismantled, especially when they're just dumping good players for salary relief.
  8. What are the Reds doing?
  9. It's absurd that a) we're approaching mid-December and NL teams don't know if they'll have a DH next season, and that it sounds increasingly unlikely that they will have a DH.
  10. I'll be surprised if Lindor gets more than 7 or 8 years. Those 10-year deals are usually reserved for elite hitters, and Lindor isn't that. Something in the range of 8/240 is about the max I'd expect for him.
  11. I don't understand why people are assuming that Lindor will become an albatross on a 7-8 year deal. He just turned 27 and an 8-year deal would take him through his age 34-season. He's an elite defensive SS who's been (and projects as) a comfortably above-average hitter, has plus speed, hits well from both sides of the plate and provides lineup flexibility, and his only career DL trip was for a calf strain in 2019. I consider him pretty safe as far as long-term mega-contracts are concerned. Certainly a risk well worth taking.
  12. Can I fight JFL if I don’t disagree?
  13. Morosi Ozuna doesn't seem like a fit here at all.
  14. lol, their only OF projected to be above replacement level is Blackmon, and he projects below average.
  15. Archie Bradley non-tender is weird.
  16. I'm pleased with the Cole non-tender. He would have been cheap, but he isn't good and is out of options.
  17. Michael Taylor somehow got a guaranteed 1.75M
  18. My keepers are set. If anyone wants to trade for devonte Graham let me know
  19. Anyone interested in moving a 1B for Drew Smyly? Could also move Brubaker for a 2022 pick.
  20. That makes a lot of sense and I can't see any objection to that.
  21. Proposals: 1. Starting this year, we start our NPD one week after the start of the LoD NPD, which starts at 9AM the second Sunday of January. So we'd add the following to the Rules: The Annual New Player Draft (NPD) will begin at 9AM on the third Sunday of January every year. 2. On January 1st we add all unowned players to waivers and expand rosters to 26.
  22. I think it's really just Foster, Curtiss, and Suter. Brubaker and Maeda will be used as starters. I guess Alzolay might also be used as an RP.
  23. ATTN J4L19: Kindly S my D
  24. ATTN CARLOS DANGER: I'm drinking tonight and accepting trade offers.
  25. I've seen the pictures, and I'm somehow still going to half expect him to waddle out there for his first PA of 2021 with an enormous ass.
