    I don't know that there was anyone who didn't want Paxton. Nobody would have been complaining if they signed him for 1/12 or whatever New York gave him. A lot of people just weren't upset that Toronto didn't sign him, because they realized that Toronto's front office likely thought his medicals were a horror show.

    Spezza has had a real nice year. I still think an enterprising division rival should have forced him from their roster earlier this year by making a claim when he was on waivers. Stupid unwritten rules.
