    I'm expecting LA. If the Dodgers are interested, how could you not want to play there? Play in a world class city, hit in the middle of a stacked lineup, and pad the HoF resume by making the playoffs every year. I guess the big question is whether they're comfortable with Muncy spending most of his time at 2B/DH.

    Votto is weird. He maintained all of his skills at 32 and 33, then his power fell off a cliff at 34,35, and 36. Then at 37 he decided to sell out a bit for power and became elite again.

    I just looked at the Steamer projection leaderboards to rosterbate over Freeman and Vladdy hitting B2B (they're 2nd and 12th by projected wRC+ btw), and I noticed that Seiya Suzuki is projected for a 140 wRC+. That has to be a mistake, right?

    So since the initial tweet Baerga has walked it back and the Jays are a rumoured finalist on Schwarber. Freeman Will be a Ray or Dodger tomorrow.

    Team success. I don’t think he cares that much about winning, especially if he has to go somewhere else to do it.

    lol, yeah there’s no way he wants to suffer the indignity of being asked daily by idiots how important it is to him to give Canada a World Series. I don’t even really get the impression that team success is that important to him, maple boners aside.

    I get the feeling that Freeman won't sign anywhere if the plan is him to take reps at DH more than once every couple weeks. From what I've read he takes a lot of pride in his defense and doesn't have any real health issues.

    It's probably just exhausting being there. As a fan I feel drained after watching a 5+ hour marathon game. Add in all the other issues you cite and I'm not surprised the players don't like them.

    The Reds are a pathetic organization and I hope their fans don't show up for this s***. In the last two offseasons they've traded Iglesias, Gray, Winker, and Suarez for almost nothing but salary relief.

    If I squint I can see Pache turning into prime Pillar, Langeliers becoming a good starting C, and the two pitchers working out. But I can also see this being another JD to Toronto trade where Beane moves an elite player and has nothing to show for it a couple years later. Olson is a top-10 hitter and top-20 player in baseball, and I think there should have been at least one player with elite upside in the return.

    Return feels light to me. Not even a top-100 prospect in the package.

    Brad Miller is a nice fit if they don't make a big splash. Lefty bat who can spell Vlad at 1B a couple times a week, and play the odd game at 3B, 2B, and the corner OF.
