    And the gap in bonus pool is 25M, split among 30 teams. The financial bridge here is almost non-existant.

    I'm mostly just salty because I think the International draft is a very good thing for the game, and it seems like the biggest issue preventing a deal, with what should be easily-bridged differences in CBT and pre-arb bonus pool.

    I'm not really sure why Tatis (and some other player) are so opposed to an international draft. Many players and former players do support it, and it seems to eliminate a good bit of the predatory behaviour that's currently going on, while not taking any money off the table.

    Missing games primarily because you can't agree on a playoff format would be the height of absurdity. But this is MLB, so it will probably happen.
