Yeah. We've seen first hand that this happens (Osuna, Yunel Escobar). A new team can sell the "fresh start, changed man" narrative about a new acquisition without a huge PR hit, but the team rostering a player at the time he does something wrong usually feels the need to cut ties. The difference with Bauer is that there not only isn't any evidence he did something illegal, there might not even be evidence that he did anything immoral. There isn't really a compelling reason for the Dodgers to gift an ace to another team with no real return.

Would be great if Fantrax allowed adds/drops/waiver claims during the draft.

BTW reminder that prospects dropped during the draft can be claimed during the period they're on waivers, but can't be added after they've cleared. Fantrax won't let you make a claim while the draft is active, so I've extended the waiver period until Saturday to allow for claims to be made after the draft. Let the Maitan sweepstakes begin!

You can do whatever Fantrax will let you do. Forrest Whitely could be moved to your IR, and that would open up a farm slot. You can also ask a commish to drop someone to open up a slot.

3.3 Players Eligible for the NPD Any player that is a) unowned in Fantrax, and property of an MLB team at the start of the draft is eligible to be selected in the draft. If a player signs with an MLB team after the draft has started, he is not eligible.

From your team roster page. Click on the CF circle to the left of his name, and then you'll have the option of moving him to the IR.

Don't feel bad man. There's a learning curve for sure, and most of us have been doing these leagues for close to 10 years.
