    Looks like Cargo is hurt again.

    Not really. In both 2013 and 2014 they looked like a possible ~85-win true talent 25-man roster with awful AAA depth. Give the same roster to a proper FO and they could probably win 90 with health. This FO has no idea how to supplement its talent with useful complementary pieces, and that combined with injuries have resulted in poor performance.

    The team is performing about exactly as expected. It's not the field manager's fault they aren't doing better.

    Yeah, I love Brad Mills. He's awful though.

    I've really started gravitating towards this type of arm and taking fewer chances on upside guys who can't seem to stay healthy.

    I wonder if Mills gets DFA'd after the game.

    Realistically, you have enough talent in place that there's no reason to miss the playoffs or anything barring horrible luck or mismanagement. You just might not run away from the pack indefinitely.

    Not just this move, but he's weakened his team a bit in 2014 with recent moves, while improving his long-term picture. I'm happy about it, but IMO he underrated his chances at a title this year and has hurt his odds of winning. I like what you're doing this year, for both you (this year) and the rest of the league (long term). You've assembled a clear favourite capable of steamrolling everyone in the playoffs, BUT you don't look quite like the juggernaut dynasty you looked like before the season. IMO you've increased your chances this year, while also letting the pack a bit closer going forward. Flags fly forever though.

    Catsass, why you selling? Your team had as good a shot as any non-Dinger team to win the championship if you held your playoff spot. Also, sell me Abreu, Gomez, or Puig plz.

    Worst part about this is that Santos had trade value in the offseason. The team will get nothing in return for him and Janssen, when they should have been traded for assets + $9 million in payroll space with which to improve the 2014 roster.
