Regardless of how upset you might be, trying to score cheap points by embarrassing the man on a public forum in front of people he's known for years is a low tactic. Airing perceived dirty laundry to hurt someone is pretty reprehensible. You guys should both stop.

Yup. I never f*** around, and tend to have a very easy time closing deals. Maybe I leave some value on the table sometimes, but I'm okay with that.

Still not really sure why people want to extend Lawrie. League average bats that draw a lot of their value from defense don't exactly clean up via arb/free agency. Combine that with his injury history and year-to-year seems to be the way to go.

The Romero extension was absolutely unnecessary at the time, and benefitted the team in no way whatsoever. Know one knew he would become a pumpkin, but that risk is exactly why you don't commit to a pitcher if you don't have to.

I haven't found it to be an issue, but I'm not really opposed either. I dunno, I kind of welcome teams only starting 2-3 guys against me. I'll take the free W and K wins.
