  1. At the time most were thrilled to move him.
  2. This is beyond sad.
  3. I'd spend money too if we could get someone who we can look to long term. As much as AA s*** the bed, this team still has some upside if he can make some sound decisions.
  4. This is true. If one of Norris, Sanchez or even Nolin pan out, things start to get interesting. If you can have 3/5 of your rotation making league min, or close to that, it brings some great roster flexibility.
  5. You are correct that most teams say this, however having both Stroman and Hutch transition to the bigs in fine form (this far), has changed things a bit. Most were hoping one of Hutch or Stroman could make it, but now we have both and a fast emerging Norris. Let's also not forget about Nolin who is basically ready to anchor the 5th spot if not for injuries. If Sanchez can at least not s*** the bed, this rotation could be something special for the next 5-6 years.
  6. Hope you are not referring to my last post, because I called them done for a month ago. Things have changed however, and this lacklustre division is allowing lacklustre teams back in the mix.
  7. Let's get to the playoffs first. This team doesn't need to mortgage the next 5-6 years of a potentially great and cheap rotation for one shot in the bucket that will likely end in failure with the quality of some of the other contenders.
  8. Yup, but with Dickey and Buehrle in the fold, we likely won't see most or all of those guys in the rotation until the 2016 season.
  9. You never know with Beane. He makes big moves and then sells the players off. Guy is a true ninja.
  10. Yup, we don't need a SP. If we do get one, get a cheap one like Colon. Come 2016, we could have one of the best and cheapest rotations in baseball.

I know it's nice having the cap space, but if this team takes another big step in the coming season, is it a wise decision to mess with the team chemistry like that? Come 2015, this team may just be lacking the complimentary pieces, not the star.

The best part is most leaf fans dislike the raptors and basketball as a whole. Fun times, fun times.
  13. The way things are going, the Rays could be back in this thing in a week.

This is great news. The Raptors are going to own this city. This is the beginning of something special and it looks like we have just the guy to lead the charge.
  15. I'm afraid to try.
  16. It's BS because it's not the actual number left on base. That stat expects every batter who comes up with a runner on to cash them in. f***ing stupid.
