  1. No question there was luck involved.
  2. Where did I say I don't see the upside in the Jays rotation? I just think the Orioles will be better than most people expect. Also on a side note you are kind of a f***ing *******.
  3. Lackey was the biggest surprise for me, never thought he had a chance to last in the rotation.
  4. They are good enough to get into the conversation now. If their rotation can be somewhat respectable, they will score enough runs to make things interesting.
  5. ERA? Their rotation has Tillman and Gonzalez who are probably better than anything we have right now. Add in Jimenez and that is not a bad top 3. Chen and Norris round out the rotation which leaves room for improvement but with Gaussman basically ready to step in and others coming up the pipeline, they will be a lot better than most people think.
  6. Not good moderator behaviour. Lifetime ban?
  7. Jay, sent you a PM about opening week.
  8. One year sure, but I think he ends up with a 3 or 4 year deal.
  9. Yeah they may land him, but I don't think they need him at this point, in fact he likely will block some better options coming up.
  10. Except that 4/5 of their rotation pitched in the ALE and the other was in the AL. Add in the depth and they look a lot better.
  11. I am thinking anywhere from second to fourth. Jays look like they have last place locked up at this point.
  12. That rotation looks better than ours.
  13. Jay, they don't need Santana with some of the arms coming up. I honestly am starting to think they could win a WC spot, and at the very least keep it interesting down the stretch. This is a team that is going to be very good by 2015.
  14. The inconsistency is a concern, but if he can give this team 150+ innings of reasonably solid pitching, it will go a long way. Basically this team is f***ed anyways.
  15. Upon further review, the Orioles look like a pretty darn good team at this point. They may not have the greatest rotation, but Gonzalez, Tillman, Jimenez, Norris and Chen is not too shabby with some solid depth behind them. The lineup looks good enough and the pen is okay. The Jays are basically f***ed at this point unless Morrow can provide a healthy season and one of the young arms step up.
  16. Precisely. AA is quite competent, he is just not in the league of Friedman, etc. We can all joke about his stupidity, but let's be realistic, we know nothing about what goes on behind closed doors.
  17. LOL at AA giving out a contract.
  18. JPR doesn't get enough credit. He had his deficiencies but he did a lot of good things as well. Same as AA, but everyone wants to make it seem like both are incompetent which isn't the case. We just ended up with two middle of the road GM's and the results speak for themselves. Not every team can have a mastermind and we clearly don't.
  19. So basically one is a pussy and the other is a dick.

    NBA Thread

It will be exciting to see the Pacers mop the floor with the Raptors.
  21. I would do nothing. Apparently that flies in the Jays FO.
  22. Same for me, it's gotta be the Saturday. I believe that was the day Jay specified anyways.
  23. Play station doesn't count.
  24. Minus Rajai Davis as well. Other than catching, this team is worse off.
  25. We got this in the bag, unfortunately the bag has a gigantic hole in it.
