  1. Would anyone try Reyes 3B and Lawrie SS in Spring training just to see how it looks??? Reyes has the arm. The range is the problem. Lawrie has plenty of both. Would it make ANY sense to try??
  2. I'd LOVE to have Francisco stashed in Buffalo next year but someone probably gives him another shot on a major league deal and I don't want it to be the Jays.
  3. When he and Jose Fernandez get traded for the entire Mariners farm system?
  4. True And although Reyes to 2B would make us happy, the fact that AA got Travis to presumably be our best shot at "2B of the future" suggests little chance they move Reyes from short.
  5. He won't have a ton of suitors after the s***** season he had last year (.162/.237/.299, negative 1.1 WAR) Good buy low candidate for sure. No one hurt himself more by declining the a qualifying offer than he did.
  6. Motherf***, he's gonna get the biggest contract in MLB history... from the MARLINS!
  7. Angels made playoffs
  8. Yessir Just a 13th-round selection in 2012 out of Florida State, Travis has produced markedly above-average batting marks at every level to which he’s been exposed, recording both excellent plate-discipline numbers and also high BABIP figures. The result: a slash line of .323/.388/.487 line in over 1,000 minor-league plate appearances. According to Steamer’s computer math, Travis — who enters his age-24 season next April — already profiles as a league-average hitter. That’s valuable for a player who also appears likely to handle second base.
  9. He will help their defense tremendously But I can't wait to watch Buerhle, Loup and Cecil carve him up at the plate
  10. I was about to post this list from Mayo, seems to be the most up to date And yes it is a weak position
  11. I suppose, they all played a fair bit this year. That list was pre-2014 season.
  12. #4 according to Baseball America (behind Wong, Odor, Betts) #84 Devon Travis 2b 3ds_tigers79 23 2015 Travis’ 2013 season caught everyone by surprise but him. Posting similar numbers at a more advanced level will position him as Ian Kinsler’s eventual replacement in Detroit.
  13. He was the Tigers #1 or 2 best prospect but only our 9th? For real?? Is their system that bad??
  14. WTF??? We got the Tigers #1 or 2 prospect for Anthony Gose??? YES YES YES
  15. Bautista on Jeff Blair show tomorrow morning at 11:40 ET Hopefully he's as honest as usual
  16. We ALMOST had him for nothing That would have been even sweeter
  17. Davidi: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-to-meet-with-sandoval-next-week/
  18. There's something to that. Stroman and Pompey just looked ready. Not out of place or over their head despite their young ages.
  19. When is he expected to start throwing again??
