Other than his sub par 2012, he has been good in every offensive statistic every year. It's not like he's cherry picking the one stat that makes him look good.
Unlike JPA who only cares about "RBIs relative to other American League catchers"
As easy as it is to get upset by it, he came right out and said he didn't want to play here and the Jays didn't seem to have that kind of money 2 years ago either. So there was never any chance. Oh, and we already had Silver Slugger Adam Lind.
Agree. I still often call it the Skydome
Minute Maid? Tropicana Field? O.co??? Really??!?! (that has to be the absolute worst but the A's need the $$ so bad LOL)
Oh, and the tweet isn't showing up because Olney appears to have deleted it. So I copied a link to the article he was tweeting about.
Lame lame lame!!!
Texas Rangers agree to deal for naming rights to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington

Absolutely. Presuming we're going to sign Jiminez or Santana anyway, he'd essentially only cost us a 3rd round draft pick and you can probably get him without overpaying in $$ at this point. I don't think the FO will do it but it would be a nice upgrade for the middle infield.
Yep, there has to be some kind of system that causes teams to discourage PED use by their players. Team has to be partly liable somehow. And not like "Yankees miss having ARod play for a whole year" liable...
AA cheaping out here means we might get to witness more of this!

LOL,yup
They wanted him soooo bad that they wouldn't trade ANYONE to AA to get him. And then they signed him for less than his expected arbitration award on a 1 year deal. Yep, they were HARD after you JP.
