I kind of wonder if a deal with the Rockies for Chacin and Rutledge wouldn't make some sense. Chacin has had decent results outside of Coors (this year aside, although his velocity seems to be returning the last start or two so that might improve now too), and I think he still has 2 arbitration years remaining. Colorado is apparently thinking of moving him to open up a slot for Gray or Butler. He's not a top end pitcher everyone wants, but he should come reasonably cheap and has the ability to put up a ~4 xFIP or lower. Even if he didn't end up pitching well, he probably doesn't cost us anything we'd be crying over. -
I definitely want Hoffman. I'm not big on Turner, but I think Zimmer could be interesting on the bat side (assuming no one really falls). On the pitching side I would love for us to redraft Nola if he's still on the board, or Freeland if not in addition to Hoffman.

He's likely being called up imo. He's eligible today or tomorrow, Isn't he? He's got his pitch count back up now to be able to start.

I don't think we will be after that kind of player. Taking AA at face value, we'll be looking for lower tier guys heading to FA rather than the elite names. To me, it sounds a lot like a guy such as Beckett or Masterson.

That's how I feel in the BBDL with Aaron Hicks. So much potential I can't bring myself to dump him, but man is it painful holding when I'm tight on roster spots.

This game feels to me more like Bautista is going to get tossed. You can see it eating him. Either that or he'll crush one.

If Francisco can keep going with the bat at a reasonable pace and play a passable 3rd base, I think I'm on board with moving Lawrie to 2nd.

Yeah, I'd wait until 11 also, but taking him there would be a perfect situation. We might even get him to sign at a nice discount, freeing up money for elsewhere in the draft.

FanGraphs: How to extract all player data?

You can get position from exporting from the fielding section, then match the fangraphs playerid. Keep in mind you'll get multiple instances of the player's stats (one for each position) though, so you'll have to choose how you want to deal with that. -
I don't think most of us do (I know I don't), so with the exception of two or three people we'll all be at the same disadvantage.
