    I don't believe so. AA dropped a lot of hints about his priorities being at least one outfielder, and either a 2nd baseman or 3rd baseman. The last time he hint dropped about something like this (bullpen)...

    I don't see why that's generous. He's put up 1.8 WAR last year and 1.1 so far this year (in only 81 games)

    Yeah, I don't think he's 100%. He frequently seems to grab at his side, but it's been like that most of the year.

    Dickey has no UCL. It's impossible for him to need TJS.

    What exactly would be the motivation for JFaS to do all the work, then give it to Wilner so he can slap his name on it and take the credit? I will give Wilner credit for at least trying, even if it demonstrates why people with no knowledge in a field shouldn't try to do research in it.

    Yeah. He sure as hell doesn't run like most pitchers...of course he also has to move his legs faster to go the same distance

    Nice. Some people behind you still have quite a few at-bats to go with the late games though. You should definitely finish comfortably in the money.

    The Tigers and Royals also play each other 6 times down the stretch, so one way or another, if we win our games, we'll gain ground on one or both.

    Morrow seems to have been pretty clear that he wants a starting job, and I'd have to think someone will give it to him. I actually think McGowan may also try to get one somewhere.

    Beltran put up 3.2 WAR in 2012 and 1.9 WAR last year...

    With both Norris and Graveman being added before they needed to be (and Sanchez expected to get a spot I would assume), you have to think there's a strong chance either Dickey or Buehrle will be traded in the off-season. This doesn't make much sense otherwise.

    Buehrle barely breaks 80 some nights. A heavy sinker at 90 is just fine, especially when combined with an almost non-existent walk rate.

    I agree. As for that incident, that was completely unprofessional by the scout as well. Both totally deserve to be punished for that.

    All this move is, is a right handed platoon bat for Lind for the rest of the year with the expanded rosters (and right handed bat off the bench late in games). Reading anything more into it than that is foolish imo. Maybe he's kept around next year, maybe he isn't. He certainly isn't going to take bats away from Pillar this year (imo).
