    It seems kind of wrong that batters can put substances and stuff on the bat to grip it better, but pitchers aren't allowed to do anything to make their hands a little more tacky to grip the ball better. Put something out beside the rosin bag that will make the hands a little tacky but won't transfer to the ball, and eliminate the nonsense once and for all. If the ump suspects something, give him the ability to call for the ball once in a while and make sure it isn't being loaded up.

    Seattle should petition MLB to move the Jays into the AL West. It would be a win-win. They'd get 150k more fans a year and we'd get an extra 6 home games

    Redmond is in an ideal role right now imo.

    I don't think you worry about doing that for a while yet unless Dustin really implodes. His first start he was tipping pitches, but was good in the second and struggled the same as everyone else in the third with nasty conditions in Minnesota. All things considered, imo he hasn't shown anything to suggest he shouldn't be in the rotation right now. edited: To be clear I'm referring to not doing anything regarding McGowan. Happ should be banned from ever setting foot in the stadium again.

    It's really amazing that we only play 12 of our first 34 games at home. I mean, it's been a horrible winter and cold spring, so naturally MLB doesn't want to take advantage of one of the cities that actually have a roof lol.

    Attendance certainly hasn't been great, but in fairness we've only played 7 home games so far, and 3 were against the Astros and one on the same night and time as the Raptors playoff game. I would think the next 2 games should be medium attendance, with big crowds this weekend vs the Red Sox.
