This was the article I saw on Holmberg originally and figured by the first paragraph that he was a legal add: http://oilersnation.com/2014/4/1/edmonton-oilers-sign-mitch-holmberg The rules don't deal with this, but it seems to me that since he signed an amateur tryout offer that he would be considered property of the organization for the purposes of the draft.

IMO, based on ease of use and feature set on Windows: Best (free) for simple things: Paint.net Best (free) for resizing images (tons of options and bulk capability) and some modifications: Irfanview Best (paid) for everything: Photoshop, but costs $10 / month.

Seriously, install Paint.net if you want something for simple things. It was originally supposed to officially replace MS Paint anyway.

It doesn't matter what the rest of the world sees him as. Seattle has been pretty clear about seeing him as one of the game's top prospects. This is why I think they won't trade him unless it's a main piece of a blockbuster (unlikely), and rather they'll keep jerking him around as he continues to lose value (likely). -

I believe earlier in the year he was being mentioned as a key part in a possible deal for Price. They aren't trading him for a reliever. Instead they'll either put him in a blockbuster or they'll keep jerking him around until his value disappears (probably the latter).
