    I think Barney was 0 for against Quintana and Goins was 2 for 3 or something. Obviously nothing should be made of that given the sample sizes, but I assume that's what he was looking at. Dominguez was 5 for 11 in his career vs Quintana. Quintana also has virtually no L/R splits, so he isn't a typical lefty.

    Marco looks like his shoulder is sore. He grabbed at it after a pitch, and has been shaking his arm out the last few pitches.

    Colabello probably shouldn't have bought those Vitamins from Ang. Who the hell knows if he intentionally took something or not. Multiple guys getting nabbed for something they would have known would be easily detectable makes me think some supplement was tainted or something, or the players didn't do their due diligence before taking a supplement. They're still at fault if it's the latter, but at least there no need to make them villains or something. If it's the former, then players should always keep a few pills from each bottle to be tested just in case something popped up. If he took the banned substance intentionally, then he's just an idiot.

    I'm more upset at bunting there than I am about the call not being overturned.

    Our starting pitching has been fine this year on the whole. We're 8th overall in MLB in WAR and 2nd in innings pitched. Middle of the pack in the AL in xFIP and 3rd in FIP. The only issue has been our offense this year, and it'll come around.

    He's missing spots a lot, but he's also getting babip'd something fierce. The vast majority of the hits have all been within about 1 foot of a fielder's glove, some of which should have been made. Then there's the double plays we failed to turn and the bad hop over Smoak. This is definitely a group effort tonight.

Not happy about possibly losing Lazar either.

    Good signing. He'd be an excellent replacement for Carrera. Can play all three outfield positions reasonably well, and can come off the bench late in a game to steal a base or two.
