    Better might not mean more effective (depending on the pitcher). Martin may choose better sequences, but if the pitchers are more comfortable with the sequences that Navarro calls, even if less optimal, the end result could still be better.

    1. There was no point in countering, because I was rejecting the framework. 2. I said for I believe the last 3 trade offers that I didn't want to trade Strome yet the offers all still involved him, even after I said to forget about deals involving the players we were talking about. When I finally suggested the kind of player I would need to obtain (not straight up I assumed was implied) in order for it to be worth it for me to trade him, you didn't like it and posted it. 3. I'm done with this conversation. This s*** should have been argued about in private.

    Only way to stop the offer spam after I repeatedly said I didn't want to trade Strome. I never actually said it would be straight up though.

    I'd be willing to make small deals at the deadline. I won't take away from my core or future as I doubt I'll make it out of the first round of the playoffs (nor should I), but I am willing to monkey with secondary pieces a bit. Send me ideas if you can think of anything interesting.

    Stroman wins the AL Cy Bautista hits 50 home runs Sanchez makes 30+ starts and puts up at least 3 WAR Colabello gets the majority of the starts at 1B and is above average defensively

    The fact that all the Canadian teams are sucking this year probably isn't helping.

    I think YES gets something like twice the subscriber fee a month (not to mention I think they somehow got YES added to all cable providers in NYC as a mandatory channel). I was really surprised though too. Some of the low ad revenue reasons for Canada make a lot of sense, but it seems like it should be higher than it is.

    For whatever it's worth, the Ontario budget projects 72 cents this year, 75.5 next year, 81 in 2018, and 83 in 2019.
