  1. Yeah, I like the idea of setting a 25 man before each game in September.
  2. Just force the pitcher to complete 3 PA or reach the end of an inning before they can be taken out (barring injury). That eliminates 3 or 4 pitching changes an inning (probably), but still protects the pitchers and allows some strategy.
  3. I was debating taking Bader instead of Jimenez, but those Jimenez numbers are just so juicy. Bader probably won't be a star, but he should be a solid regular who contributes in all categories imo.
  4. Skaggs having a second big start in a row (and likely his final rehab start). Last start was 1 hit in 7 innings with 14 k's. Today is 1 hit in 5.2 innings with 12 k's.
  5. To Abomination: Bickford + MiLB 58 To BTS: Napoli + 94 + 107
  6. He's 1B/OF (for the rest of this year)
  7. Thanks, I literally just got back lol. Figured my pick would have come up hours ago.
  8. King has my pick for 30 (assuming BB or Jays_Fever don't take him).
  9. Reaching a little is fine to make sure you get your guy (I probably reached on McKenzie). The 6th overall pick isn't one you want to use on a pure wildcard though.
  10. You're asking why it's a terrible decision to use the 6th overall pick on a guy drafted in the 32nd round of the most recent draft, based presumably on 74 PA in rookie ball? Even if he turns out to be a star player, it's still a terrible decision as you likely could have picked him up in the 5th or 6th round.
  11. I select Triston KcKenzie. BB is up!
  12. What the hell do you mean why? I'm not promoting him yet.
  13. You mean the one that isn't being updated by anyone? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gmrnLvPPUwdpITeT9t7uwqrucdws2fN8uRRJv_sosGE/edit?usp=sharing
  14. I have two guys ready to go too! Might have to take 12 hours to decide which one though.
  15. I've been trying to learn some new web app programming (using React). Maybe a new site would be a decent way to practice it. It wouldn't be for a while though. In the mean time, we could probably take a copy of the BBDL one and repurpose it. It's a bit of a pain to add new names to the owned prospect list atm, but otherwise it makes everything really freaking easy.
  16. Yan Gomes was the perfect kind of guy as the backup catcher (before his breakout, or the last year or so). Could play multiple positions with average or better defense, along with catcher. He could have been basically the Zobrist of the catching and corner infield world.
  17. He's REALLY tearing up AAA since his promotion.
  18. http://www.gocomics.com/nonsequitur/2016/07/06
  19. I have to admit, Carrera is growing on me.
  20. I don't expect us to bring in a big name or star, but we could certainly make smaller moves that would have a big impact on the team the remainder of the year. Grilli has made a big impact on the pen.
