  1. Really busy, send me something (by PM is fine) and I'll take a look tonight.
  2. I won't trade Halak or Fleury, but I'm willing to discuss the other guys.
  3. I'm tentatively looking at keeping: C - Trocheck C - Johansen C, LW - Zetterberg LW - Huberdeau LW - Forsberg RW - Nichushkin RW - Wheeler RW - Strome RW - Ryan D - Dumba D - Byfuglien D - Vatanen G - Halak G - Fleury G - Smith On the bubble (may bump someone listed above, or may consider trading): G - Domingue D - Ristolainen D - Markov C - Pageau RW - Lazar
  4. All goalies are less valuable this year since we removed shutouts.
  5. I think that end once the calendar hits September and everyone can be called up regardless, but I'm not positive.
  6. Not good, but the playoff drive will likely help energize him.
  7. This also gives us good protection just in case Martin was to go down injured in September. He already knows almost all of the pitchers too. This probably doesn't change anything with Thole or Dickey, unless they get moved in the next few days.
  8. I'm missing Bobby Ryan.
  9. Not looking forward to these cuts. Gonna be painful with at least one or two guys.
  10. No kidding. Good thing he didn't airmail first, he might have killed someone.
  11. Based on xFIP, yes. Based on ERA, there's a few giving him competition.
  12. The Red Sox are probably saying the same thing about the Rays.
  13. I feel like teams are really starting to sit on his change. That doesn't mean they'll consistently hit it mind you.
  14. Well Doc was due to a medical issue unrelated to his pitching. I'm sure Lee could have come back if he wanted to, but simply doesn't want to.
  15. His 4.37 xFIP this year says otherwise. (I think he'll bounce back, but almost every pitcher I've touched this year except Sanchez has been a disaster)
  16. I was taking him at 34 over Harvey if he was still there, but BB probably would have taken him one before me too. No way he was getting to 41. Syndergaard owners in other leagues should probably rejoice I didn't get him. Kiss of death.
  17. Two players, whatever. The point stands.
  18. IMO the claims of getting high with one of the Jays players during the season seems more far fetched, given the random drug testing. This also occurs in the offseason, so why would EE refuse to smoke during the season but smoke a bunch of weed later?
  19. Me neither. I thought about taking Pujols given his struggles vs the knuckler, but found better options.
  20. What the hell is up with our infield defense the last few days?
  21. I wonder if having it bounce up into his face was part of the plan?
  22. I'm in excellent position for a good draft pick next year!
  23. Loup is killing it in AAA. 0.73 FIP over 16.2 innings, 12:1 k/bb.
  24. It's almost certainly a combination of random variance, mental variance, and other factors. Negative stretches could be affected by things like minor injury, fatigue, or soreness. The eye level of the batter combined with arm height and angle of the pitcher could place the ball coming out of a different location of the batting eye. Some batters react to weather differently (I assume), etc. It's very difficult to determine what is random variance, and what is caused by variables you haven't considered in your model (or perhaps variables you simply don't have access to).
