    Will they actually get anything better? Stanton wasn't claimed by anyone when he was put through revocable waivers, they seem to want to trade him, and have been clear about not eating salary. If no one was willing to claim him for no return and risk having him dumped on them, why would they pay now?

    Hmm, I took a look and you appear to be right. There doesn't seem to be an option to change it during the season though even if we wanted to, so it's something that would have to be decided in the offseason.

    The FA list this winter is pretty thin in general, but relievers seem to be the exception. There's some very good targets.

    Judge looks so awkward in the outfield, but he makes the plays.

    It's too bad in some ways that owners can't own multiple teams. If Rogers could own both the Jays and new Expos, there wouldn't need to be any issues with territory compensation or reduction in revenue from a second team in Canada.

    It's interesting. I'd kind of like to see them do away with the ASG though (maybe host skills competitions like the home run derby after the season in other countries to promote the game). Also, reduce the preseason slightly and start in cities with good climates or domes for the first two weeks or so.

    I kind of think you give him another year or two to sort out the catching issues before resorting to moving him.
