    I'm pretty doubtful someone would. Someone would sign him to a minor league deal, but I can't see anyone rostering him on their big league roster unless they were going after the top pick.

    Why would you take an elite defender and move him to another position, to make room for an average defender (at best)? If you sign JD, move Vladdy to another position.

    To be fair, he's produced a high BABIP pretty consistently for 3 years now. I think the odds are against him at the major league level, but it could be an interesting case study.

    We have what, 5 weeks until the start of the season? Might be hard to get a dispersal and waiver draft done that quickly unless people are really on the ball.

    That was a ball that Martin really has to charge instead of laying back. Overall he's looked viable at 3rd though, at least in terms of part time duty.
