    Pretty much all of those projections look laughably low to me. Smith and Roark might be accurate.

    This sounds like a terrible idea. We need at least one of the pieces coming back for Giles to be as close as possible to a sure thing, preferably in an area of need.

    I actually wouldn't mind us trading for Calhoun and picking up the option. 1/14 for a guy who's been between 2.1 and 3.5 WAR in 5 of the last 6 years seems pretty good. Could probably flip him too.

    Anthony Davis through 3 quarters: 40 points, 20 rebounds. He might not play much in the 4th due to the game looking like a blowout.

    The plus side is that this controversy in the WS might be what baseball needed to fix the damn rule once and for all.

    Irrelevant. It would be like saying a runner got hit by a batted ball preventing the fielder from making a play, but it shouldn't matter because he was looking at the outfielders and didn't see it coming at him.

    There's a lot of flopping going on so far. The league is going to have to do something about it soon. Or Nick could NOT waste his challenge on a call that was never going to be reversed and save it for something like that.

    His entire game is great right now. I love what I'm seeing from him so far. He's had some incredible blocks the last two games too.

    Canadian TV stations don't get anywhere near the dollar rate per eyeball that the US does. I'd guess it would be more in the $60 - $80M range, but that's still way the hell higher than they're paying now. Then there's things like stadium naming rights and stuff.

    It's just accounting nonsense, which they can do since they own the station and stadium as well as the team. They can fudge the numbers (within reason) so they don't have to pay as much revenue sharing. They have no debt, so no interest on debt. The team has no shareholders, Rogers does, so dividends do not come into play. I'm pretty sure operating income includes taxes.
