  1. It sure is a shocking difference watching Suzuki back there as opposed to watching Gary Sanchez.
  2. Nick Nurse makes the best faces.
  3. FFS Kyle. Stop yapping at the damn refs.
  4. The media gets away with way too much, and I fully support calling them out on it or asking them to leave if they do. That's not license to be a **** in return though. I'm sure more will come out on this in the next few days, and we'll have a better idea of what actually happened.
  5. Reporters would definitely do that (or at least some would, if they had a cause or narrative they wanted to further).
  6. I'm sure there's a hell of a lot more to this story. I could easily see a scenario where those reporters have been pestering the front office about Osuna for quite some time, and Taubman being a little drunk after advancing, felt vindicated in taking the chance on acquiring Osuna and wanted everyone to know it, without considering how it might be interpreted. It's also possible that he's simply a prick. Either way, it's not a good look. He either screwed up without meaning any offense, or it was directed specifically at the female reporters on purpose. Regardless, he screwed up.
  7. Remember to set your lineups, everyone!
  8. Yeeesssss! Now it should start getting really interesting!
  9. Was it Gardner the other day who claimed he got a piece of a ball he missed by a foot, or was that someone else?
  10. Let's see some extra innings! I feel like that would be appropriate punishment for both teams taking a bullpen day.
  11. It still feels weird to me to see the catcher automatically toss the ball out of play if it goes near the dirt. There was a time when the ump would have had to wrestle it away from them.
  12. It's like he freezes as soon as the ball approaches the dirt. I really can't recall seeing a catcher repeatedly do that before.
  13. Maybe, but neither has pitched much. I could see them getting a very quick hook. Both teams may be looking to get through 5, then go to their big guns for 6 outs each.
  14. Things are going to get really interesting towards the end of this game. Both teams look like they're keen to burn through pitchers at a worrying rate.
  15. That's a big strike zone on both sides of the plate. I don't blame Gardner for being a little unhappy about that sequence. Hopefully he can keep it together and not start banging on the dugout roof again.
  16. I think they mentioned something about more/stronger independent leagues which would take those other players. It might also force more players into college.
  17. Looks like neither pitcher is able to grip the ball tonight.
  18. That could have been a hell of a lot worse for the Yankees.
  19. Lol Yankees. Pickup up where they left off last game.
  20. You are correct. There's also no periods, commas, or a multitude of other things.
  21. Lol. Poor Chirinos. That was pretty much exactly where Edwin caught him.
  22. If Dasan Brown could even become Billy Hamilton with a higher walk rate, he would be a fantastic player, at least during the time we'd control him for.
